Car is 2005 honda civic and according to google searches and civic forums this is a known problem with honda vehicles (not just civics) and honda quotes a $800+ price to repair rather than standing by their vehicles. Both of the car sensors had been smashed in since this was a full front hit to back end of the car in front. Even the state trooper asked why the driver side did not blow.
