My wife came to a stop at our security gate, used the remote for the gate but it wouldn't open. She backed up about 15 feet to turn around. I am a fuel efficient driver, drive with the econ button on mos of the time. I drive 150 miles 5 times a week. Every time i am going downhill and i push the brakes to slow down, the rpm's go up. I also tried driving without the econ to see if it would change and the same thing happened.
