I was driving straight down a city street in boca raton, fl at about 40 mph when i heard a bang and looked to see that the side curtain and seat airbags of the passenger side of my car had deployed. My 15 year old son was sitting in the passenger seat at the time of impact. I was able to pull over into a turn lane to check my son for injuries and assess what had happened. The was no known cause for the deployment.

While car is in motion check air bag sensor will go off. Sensor will stay on until ignition is turned off and car is in park. The sensor will periodically turn on and off over the last 8months. When contacting honda dealer about the check airbag sensor they stated it not related to the recall. I disagree if my sensor are reading check airbags something must be going on.
