I was at a stop light and had the a/c running it was working fine and blowing cold. While accelerating the light i heard a loud metal noise and thump and the air conditioner started blowing hot. Black death syndrome--where the compressor starts seizing up and shredding the a/c cluth into metal shaving into the a/c system. A very known issue to honda technicians and can even get it fixed out of warranty out of goodwill. The a/c will just give out one day there and they will actually have to open up the compressor to see if this is the cause. Any year and model! *ph
