I also saw there is a tsb recall (honda tsb 08-001) on the 2007 civic but not on the si on replacing the rear arms. My 2007 civic si has the same visible tire wear and tread cupping which would be fixed by the recall but my car is not included. The fix is a simple replacement of the rear chamber arms. I bought this car brand new and had it in on a recall for the 3rd gear. I'd like that same treatment and to be…

Extremely severe tire ware on rear tires of 2007 honda civic, 12,000 miles and the rear tires are worn to the belts on inside edge. Rear alignment appears to be wrong from the factory. Have been told by american honda that there may be an issue with the rear control arms. *tr

I had my 2007 civic hybrid in for service last week and was told that there were parts subject to a recall that affected the tire wear and the ride. The recalled parts, rear suspension, and the installation were covered by honda, but the excessive tire wear was not. Mike (service) checked with honda who said they would only pay for 30% of the new tires, so i would still be out hundreds of dollars. I am disappointed…

The mechanic noticed that the tires had uneven wearing and advised the contact to go to the dealer. The dealer stated that the control arms and all four tires needed to be replaced. The dealer will cover the cost for the replacement…

Tread/Belt
Front tires are significantly worn after 8,000 miles. They have very little traction on wet pavement. The tires simply spin when starting from a dead stop. *tr

I bought my 2007 honda civic lx 4-door sedan on may 6, 2007. I drive about 120 highway miles each day and in november 2007, i had to replace the tires because of excessive wear on the passenger-side rear tire. I took the vehicle to the dealership but they said the car was "in-spec" and that i should have rotated the tires sooner. I document every drop of fuel that i put in my car. I write down when i change the oil,…
